Park End Community Garden, Vulcan Park

The Park End Community Garden sits beside the restored Park End Shelter in Vulcan Park, Workington, offering a calm, welcoming space where people can grow, create and connect. Designed as a hub for community activities which support health, creativity, sustainability and wellbeing, the garden brings neighbours together through gentle gardening, seasonal projects and relaxed outdoor workshops. With strong involvement from local groups and volunteers, it provides an inclusive environment where people of all ages and abilities can enjoy nature, learn new skills, and help nurture a greener, more connected community.
